scales of justice 300WORKING IN SOCIETY FOR THE COMMON GOOD

The Jubilee+ team is committed to help enable the church to impact society in three main ways; through social action in local churches, through the development of social enterprises and equipping individuals to engage positively on behalf of the poor and socially excluded. This latter strand of our work we call ‘Social Justice’.

Our objective in social justice is to educate and inform Christians about the underlying reasons for social issues so that they can intervene positively on behalf of the disadvantaged. A combination of topical research and a biblical understanding of societies old and new will equip many to work for the common good - either through their everyday jobs or as volunteers.
